The pet beds require the cats and dogs expansion pack! All seating items come in the same 40 Swatches which you can see in the Gif above, some have the pattern that I used for the Petit Trianon loveseat and chairs.Īnother item I was looking forward to making was draped curtains. I made a three seater, a loveseat and an armchair and something for our little friends, two pet beds, a large and a small one. Also for years I have been obsessed with rattan and cane and incorporated those details, my trip to the Provence helped for inspiration too :). I wanted a very French-looking set of seating items and had a look again at what I created for the Petit Trianon. For the 6th part of the 'Chateau Set,' I decided to create historical items again like I used to (but in a more maxis match style) and wanted to use all the skills I learned over the past years. I've been creating custom content for almost six years now and this month felt a little bit like time travel. Thank you again for all the support I hope you enjoy using this set! This Set is on Early Access and you will find it here I matched the slots to the dimensions of my items and everything can be mixed and matched quite well :) To fill up all the space I created 14 clutter items, 9 book pieces in two different styles and various sizes, 2 sculptures, 2 vases, and a box. Now let me reveal a little secret, I made functional secret book doors matching the shelves, I included arch versions too :) People were asking me to make them for years, but don't ask me why it took me so long to create them :D, I loved watching my testing sims walk through the book wall. To spice up this library you will get ladders for the medium and tall versions. The bookshelves are full height and you will get short, medium, and tall versions. The bookshelves are traditional in style and perfect for a chateau setting, in my opinion :) The Bookshelf can be made from six pieces: two single-tile bookshelves, a 2-tile version, a rounded inside corner, an outside corner, and an extra decorative piece for separation. I am thrilled to show you this month's items, a 40-piece modular library. I swear it's a coincidence that EA just published a Book Nook kit, maybe they have seen my hint from last month :D, joking. Don't worry I didn't forget about the shell building! Thank you so so much for all your support and love and I hope you enjoy my new set. This Set is on Early Access now and you can download it hereĪ little heads up about what's coming next: kitchen month :) I also didn't want to miss out on interior doors :) In this month's set, you will also find a classic Parisian wooden floor, a black and white stone floor, and wallpaper with handpainted patterns( Which I created myself from scratch). Two additional items that are less historic but more rustic are a round table, perfect for giant bouquet displays, and a potted Fiddle Leaf tree :) I also made a hanging light and a wall sconce. The Mirror comes in three height options. I sat down and created a Lous XV console table as a full and quarter version ( actually I found a console table at Hotel de la Marine in Paris and had to recreate it with a twist and incorporated a Plumbob) and a Rococo Mirror inspired by an original from Athena Calderone's apartment. Now that I made stone stairs, in the future I will also create a wooden one, the possibilities are endless :D.Īnother Area I haven't touched for quite some time is proper historical pieces, but a chateau set can't live without them. I pulled myself together and made the stairs plus additional pieces such as curved landings and suitable french fence and railing pieces. I simply wanted to have proper french stairs but was too afraid of trying out creating them. Let me introduce you to CHATEAU Part 2, a 37-item set for your Chateaus entrance and hallways.Īn area that I was always longing to have more items for was a 'grand foyer'.
